THANK YOU OA ELECTION TEAMS! Special thanks to our Vice Chief of Membership Alex Dabrowski, Leslie Dabrowski and Michael Moen for coordinating this year’s elections! Your hard work at scheduling and conducting elections is much appreciated! We look forward to calling out newly elected and Vigil candidates at the Spring Camporee campfire on Saturday, April 29!

 

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CHEERFUL SERVICE! On Saturday, April 8th, Rum River Scout Camp had a number of Scouts and Scouters help with miscellaneous spring projects. Thank you!

 

Vigil Selection. The Lodge Vigil Selection Committee met in February and nominated 64 youth and adults for the Vigil Honor. The Vigil conclave will be August 26 & 27 at Stearns. Congratulations to all those who have received the honor!

Lodge Officer Elections: Are you an Arrowmen interested in helping the Totanhan Nakaha Lodge? If you answered yes to this question, please attend the next Lodge Executive Committee on April 20th from 7-8:30 at the Golden Valley Scout Office with a letter of intent to run for a lodge office. At the meeting, candidates will record an election video to be sent out to the voters. The six lodge officers recommend running for everyone interested! Letters will be mailed out May 1st to all youth members of the lodge containing a code to vote for the 2017-18 Lodge Officers. The election results will be announced at the May LEC, and the officers will begin their terms on August 1st . Descriptions of the six lodge officer’s duties are on the lodge web site. The lodge offices are Lodge Chief, Lodge Executive Vice Chief, Lodge Vice Chief of Membership, Communications, Finance, and Program.

 

OAHA. Are you aware of the various opportunities available to Arrowmen at the BSA’s various high adventure bases? Every high adventure base has adventures for a family-friendly cost where you devote a bit of service for a life-changing adventure, available exclusively to Arrowmen. To lower the cost even further, the lodge has scholarships available.

 

NOAC 2018! It will be at Indiana University, Bloomington. The approximate dates are from July 30th to August 8th.
Remember, our chapter holds monthly meetings during the District Round Table meeting, the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 7 p.m. All Arrowmen and OA Troop Representatives are encouraged to attend! Troops if you do not have a OA Representative then please get one. We would like to see all troops being represented at our monthly meetings!
